Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Clinical Care Professional to join our team at Karana Community in Kew, Victoria on a casual basis. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical care to consumers, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The main objective is to deliver high-quality care that meets consumer expectations, ensuring dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage care staff, fostering an environment that prioritises teamwork and consumer focus.
  2. Ensure all reporting staff are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare standards for care delivery, professionalism, and customer-centric approach.
  3. Maintain clear, consistent communication regarding all aspects of care (with colleagues, staff, consumers, and families) while respecting individual privacy and dignity.
  4. Ensure safe and secure management of medications.
  5. Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement process and explain it to stakeholders.
  6. Maintain own educational and professional development within Scope of Practice.
Requirements
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel
  • Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role
What We Offer
