We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Aged Care Manager to join our team at Karana Community in Kew, Victoria.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery according to Aged Care Standards, collaborating with the Senior Management Team, and promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents.
You will lead by example, demonstrating compassion, diligence, and a commitment to best practice in aged care. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to motivate staff, work collaboratively within a team, and liaise effectively with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure care delivery reflects current best practice guidelines and respects individual consumer needs and preferences.
- Oversee staff adherence to Baptcare policies and procedures, maintaining an optimal level of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents.
- Maintain awareness of staff training and equipment requirements, proactively alerting site managers to action when necessary.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and compliant records are maintained across all areas.
- Contribute to a welcoming service environment for consumers.
- Promote educational development opportunities for the team, staying informed about available resources and communicating them regularly.
- Liaise with internal and external customers in a compassionate, helpful manner that reflects Baptcare's Mission and Vision statement.
- Manage required reporting, including risk assessments, audits, and reviews, ensuring timely completion and appropriate action when results fall short of expectations.
- Oversee Aged Care funding assessments and ensure completion of required documentation within specified timeframes.

Your experience as a clinical aged care manager has equipped you with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to supervise and motivate staff while working collaboratively within a close-knit team.
Required Skills and Qualifications- CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH AHPrA AS A RN DIVISION 1 (ESSENTIAL)
- RECENT POSITION IN CLINICAL AGED CARE MANAGEMENT (MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS)
- EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITY TO SUPERVISE AND MOTIVATE STAFF
- LIAISING WITH RESIDENTS, FAMILIES, GP'S, AND ALLIED HEALTH
- CONTEMPORARY UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT FRAMEWORK/SYSTEM
- WELL-DEVELOPED PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
- ABILITY TO WORK CO-OPERATIVELY AS A MEMBER OF THE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES MANAGEMENT TEAM TO ACHIEVE GOALS
