At NHP Electrical Engineering Products, we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our Finance team in Melbourne. This is a pivotal role that will oversee the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Concur, and general administration services.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role and hold a Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce/Business degree. They will possess strong leadership, management, and influencing capabilities, as well as detailed orientated, analytical, and organisational skills.

Salary

The remuneration package for this role is based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as parking provided onsite, flexible work environment, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.

Job Description

This role reports to the Finance Reporting Manager and is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and adherence to company policies. The successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Manage, guide, and coordinate shared services team members;
  • Work alongside the credit manager to ensure credit control practices are embedded within the collections team;
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls in all financial transactions;
  • Provide short-term and long-term cash requirements to optimize the company's cash position;
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations;
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial aspects of business activities;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role;
  • A Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce/Business degree;
  • Strong leadership, management, and influencing capabilities;
  • Detailed orientated, analytical, and organisational skills;
  • An ability to work effectively across organisational lines;
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred but not essential).
