Adult Family Violence Specialist

To address the complex needs of adults affected by family violence, we are seeking a skilled Family Violence Counselor to provide critical information, assessment, counseling, referrals, and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop personalized recovery plans for adults affected by family violence, incorporating appropriate therapeutic interventions and community support networks.
- Contribute to program development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation, ensuring seamless integration with existing services.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients, other service providers, and internal teams, promoting cohesive and effective responses to family violence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance risk management strategies, safety assessments, and service coordination, prioritizing the well-being and protection of vulnerable individuals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, research findings, and policy developments, applying this knowledge to continually improve service quality and effectiveness.
- A tertiary qualification in an allied health profession, registered with the relevant National Board or professional association.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
