Counsellor Supervisor

The Team Leader position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality service delivery in the Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) Adult Program.

This involves working closely with other teams to provide a comprehensive and integrated service system, including liaison and professional relationships with relevant service providers.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality services through effective communication and efficient resource use.
• Assist in planning and managing resources against agreed performance indicators and benchmarks.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff, promoting a positive work environment.
• Participate in quality improvement projects as required.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Comprehensive knowledge of family violence, including experience in clinical management of clients with complex needs.
• Proven management experience, including knowledge of contemporary management practices and quality improvement methods.
• Highly developed self-management skills, enabling adaptability and flexibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated service planning and evaluation skills.
• A commitment to quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
