We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to lead our Family Violence Counselling and Support Service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by family violence.

Job Description

The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that the services delivered by our Adult Program are of the highest quality, responsive, effective, and efficient. This includes planning and managing human, financial, and physical resources, as well as providing leadership and supervision to staff.

The Team Leader will also participate in quality improvement, education, and research projects undertaken by the multidisciplinary team. This will involve working closely with other teams within the service, as well as liaising with other relevant service providers.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of family violence, including experience in the clinical and therapeutic management of clients with complex care needs.
  • Proven management experience, including knowledge of contemporary management practices, purchasing of services, and best practice methods.
  • Highly developed self-management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workloads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written skills.
