Job Overview

An Environmental Sustainability Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting clients by delivering comprehensive environmental impact assessments, environmental planning, approvals, and environmental management projects across various sectors.

  • Assist in preparing and conducting environmental impact assessments, and environmental management and compliance documents, ensuring all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret environmental data from various sources, including field studies, surveys, GIS data, and industry reports.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather input and address concerns, fostering positive relationships and promoting effective communication.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including findings, recommendations, and mitigation strategies, for clients and regulatory bodies, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.

About You:

  • Degree qualification in environmental science, planning, or related discipline, with a strong foundation in sustainability principles and practices.
  • Up to 2 years' experience, ideally as an Environmental Scientist or Planner in a consulting environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Adaptability, interest, and aptitude in working across multiple disciplines, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive team and client relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a vibrant team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve shared goals and objectives.
