Equipment Reliability Specialist

The Role

To drive the enhancement of equipment performance, we are seeking a skilled specialist to join our asset management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse data and trends to identify improvement opportunities in equipment performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and defect elimination efforts.
  • Develop and optimize asset strategies, including condition monitoring and life cycle planning.
  • Support maintenance shutdowns and component replacements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Champion reliability best practices across the business.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (highly regarded).
  • Have proven experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance in an open cut mining environment.
  • Exposure to maintenance management systems (experience with Pulse is advantageous but not essential).
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
