Project Engineer Role Overview

This role is focused on delivering technical and inspection services to support power generation asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide and coordinate engineering, NDT, and metallurgical solutions for boilers, turbines, and ancillary plant issues.
  • Perform plant inspections as required.
  • Ensure adherence to pressure equipment regulations during outage periods.
  • Assist in coordinating engineers, plant inspectors, and NDT technicians during outages, shutdowns, and emergency repairs.
  • Compile technical reports based on inspection and NDT results.
  • Develop inspection strategies and scopes of work.
  • Support engineers during inspection, technical assessment, evaluation, and reporting stages of projects.
About You

We are looking for individuals with a degree or certificate in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Graduate engineers are also considered. AICIP qualification is desirable.

Candidates should have knowledge and experience in heavy industry such as Power Plants, Oil and Gas, or Process Industries, preferably in engineering, inspection, or advanced NDT roles.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and hazard identification and assessment, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.

A dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn is preferred.

The ability to build rapport at all organizational levels and uphold compliance with company safety and quality objectives is essential.
