About the Opportunity:

This is a permanent full-time position responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the establishment.

Our ideal candidate will be guest obsessed, providing outstanding Quality, Service and Cleanliness to our guests through their team.

The key tasks associated with this role include:

  • Providing Safety Leadership
  • Managing day-to-day operations with a focus on safe work practices that are compliant with local legislation and standards
  • Creating a Guest Obsessed Culture
  • Evaluating employee performance, promotions, disciplinary discussions and resolving employee grievances appropriate to the role
  • Ensuring that guests receive prompt service and quality food
  • Executing the National Marketing Plan on shifts to ensure our guests receive a consistent experience on every visit (correct pricing, marketing material displayed correctly)
  • Responding to guest inquiries and feedback about goods and services and providing appropriate corrective actions or escalation to ensure guest satisfaction with response
  • Owning (on shifts) National incentive programs to improve the guest experience
  • Building the Brand (Business Planning)
  • Utilizing the Business Priority Plan to continually improve Restaurant performance
  • Reviewing business results regularly and communicating to the team, with clear action plans implemented to achieve improvement
  • Participating in community engagement initiatives in the local area, to improve visibility and build brand loyalty
  • Leading a High Performing Team
  • Creating a culture that emphasizes growth, trust and accountability
  • Building the Restaurant Team, to ensure effective shift coverage with productive and proficient employees
  • Developing and maintaining a succession plan that engages and retains internal talent pipeline
  • Partnering with the Training Coach to execute the Restaurants Training Plan
  • Managing the Business (Profit and Controllables)
  • Accurately projecting sales, to ensure rostering and ordering support our guest obsession
  • Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning employees to specific duties
  • Managing controllables (own portfolio) to achieve profit goals
  • Conducting regular stock take of inventory, maintaining stock records, ensuring alignment within budget
  • Ordering inventory as per requirements for sales projections
