Key responsibilities include :
  • Managing geotechnical site investigations, including supervising subcontractors
  • Organizing and conducting field investigation works, including data collection
  • Solving complex geological problems using analysis programs, working on projects such as landslides, hazard risk assessments, rock and anchor design
  • Adhering to relevant health and safety standards
  • Preparing proposals by identifying necessary investigations to achieve project objectives and meet client requirements
  • Writing technical reports

About You

You should have a Bachelor Degree in :

  • Engineering - Civil, Geotechnical
  • Sciences - Geology, Groundwater

Other criteria

  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's license
  • You enjoy balancing field and office work
  • An interest in ongoing learning and building your career in geotechnical, environmental, groundwater, and earthworks within the civil field
