Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain and commission overhead electrical cranes and hoists.
  • Perform routine and corrective crane maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find crane systems.
  • Create detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports.
  • Survey and scope crane maintenance activities to identify labour, materials and equipment required.
  • Replace crane components such as hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches and load monitoring systems.

Weekly pay cycle.

This role is primarily metro-based with some periodic remote site work as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

An Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Certificate.

'A' Grade Electrical Trade License.

Australian Driver's license.

Australian citizenship.

To be successful in this role, you must:

Have 5 years' experience as an overhead crane technician.

Possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in using a computer.

Demonstrate a commitment to safety and excellence.

Be able to work autonomously and within a team.

Pass a National Police clearance and AGSVA Security Vetting process.
