Job Opportunity

Clinical Nurse Consultant - Gastroenterology Research position available at a major hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing leadership in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of clinical trials and research projects related to gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of ethical and clinical practice while improving outcomes for patients with complex digestive health needs.
  • Lead and influence evidence-based practice and contribute to the development and advancement of gastroenterology care through research.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with a reputable healthcare agency.
  • Minimum five years full-time equivalent post-registered nursing experience in acute medical nursing; postgraduate qualifications in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of the practice development framework in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated recent experience and advanced knowledge in clinical trials management or experience as a study coordinator; understanding of research submissions.
  • Involvement in the development or change of clinical practice grounded in evidence-based research.
  • Ability to apply clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy, working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
