Job Summary
The Resort Manager position is a strategic business leader responsible for overseeing property operations and working closely with the General Manager of the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. This role involves collaborating with the leadership team to maintain required standards across various departments, including Front Office, Business Center, Activities, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention, Engineering/Maintenance, and Food and Beverage/Culinary.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operations strategies aligned with the brand's business strategy and lead their execution.
- Manage profitability and departmental budgets, ensuring operations meet the brand's target customer needs and associate satisfaction.
- Lead property operations teams, establishing a vision for product and service delivery and ensuring alignment amongst the property leadership team.
- Manage and conduct human resources activities, including hiring, performance appraisals, and associate satisfaction.
Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years' experience in management operations, or related professional area.
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
