We are looking for an experienced Senior Kitchen Assistant to assist the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
About the Role:
- Assist the Head Chef with cooking duties, meal preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Liaise with chef on duty to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Perform tasks related to food production, storage, and disposal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals to meet kitchen recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and stock control.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with kitchen staff and other departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Kitchen Assistant or equivalent role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
