About the Job

You will be an integral part of the operations of busy commercial kitchens. This involves operating commercial dishwashers and other commercial kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches, ensuring all rubbish is removed and equipment is correctly stored. You will also prepare equipment required for functions (chafing dishes, plates etc.) and assist the chefs with general kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:

  • Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including days, afternoons, evening and overnight shifts.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced commercial kitchen environments.
  • Good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job.
  • Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling.
