About the Role
Team Global Express (TGE) is in search of a motivated and results-oriented Account Manager - Inside Sales to enhance our Sales Team. This role is essential for nurturing customer relationships and fostering business expansion.
As an Account Manager - Inside Sales, you will engage with a diverse range of small to medium-sized enterprises across various regional markets, playing a crucial role in managing and growing our client portfolio.
In collaboration with your Sales Manager and the Head of Inside Sales, you will strategize and implement initiatives aimed at acquiring new clients and boosting our market presence. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a solid grasp of market dynamics and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a national client portfolio with a revenue target exceeding $4.5M, ensuring robust customer retention and growth.
- Establish and sustain customer relationships through consistent communication, including calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Discover and assess new business prospects through comprehensive market analysis and customer feedback.
- Negotiate terms of trade, manage credit requests, and oversee customer resolution processes.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, adhering to company policies while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Work collaboratively with sales teams and other departments to ensure seamless customer service and contribute to overarching business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in account management or inside sales, preferably in a B2B context.
- A strong customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with clients via phone, virtual platforms, and face-to-face interactions.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical comprehension.
- Proven capability in negotiating and managing trading terms, customer credit requests, and ensuring account profitability.
- Ability to interpret and apply industry trends to fulfill customer needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
