Job Role: Maintenance Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Iron Bridge open-cut mine site project in Western Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and plan all weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities by prioritizing resources, machinery, and personnel.
  2. Provide technical support to resolve daily and weekly logistical issues.
  3. Maintain full statutory compliance and ensure safety standards are met throughout all maintenance activities.
  4. Identify skill gaps among team members and develop strategies to address these gaps.
  5. Deliver training and development programs to enhance team performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certificate.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Proven experience with large fleets of mobile mining equipment.
  • Familiarity with mine system maintenance procedures.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of maintenance management software.
  • Prior supervisory experience and mentoring/coaching skills are desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
