Key Operations Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Key Operations Coordinator to join our team at HMAS Stirling, Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily operational and maintenance activities for a fleet of vessels.

The Key Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Site Marine Manager to apply planning and systems expertise to maintain vessel schedules and champion data accuracy.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining operations schedules and computer maintenance management system transactions
  • Supporting the safe operation and maintenance of various sized vessels and equipment
  • Promulgating and closing planned maintenance transactions
  • Inventory management and control
  • Supporting implementation, deployment, user support and overall effectiveness of operations management systems
  • Ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource utilisation

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field or demonstrated relevant maritime industry experience in operations and maintenance planning.

They will also possess knowledge of Royal Australian Navy operating practices and procedures, as well as strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional requirements include:

  • Current driver's licence (national code class C)
  • Experience with programming/rostering/scheduling
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Ability to gain security clearance
