Job Description:

Our team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our Medically Supervised Injecting Centre in Darlinghurst. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals who inject drugs.

We are looking for someone with a passion for public health, harm reduction, and social justice. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • Minimum 2 years' post-grad experience
  • Solid understanding of harm reduction and commitment to social justice
  • Clinical experience in drug and alcohol, mental health, or emergency care
  • Experience working with people who inject drugs, including insight into their health, legal, and social challenges
  • Knowledge of safer injecting practices, overdose management, and brief interventions
