Medically Supervised Injecting Care Lead

The Clinical Manager, Medically Supervised Injecting position plays a crucial role in leading a multidisciplinary team to provide best-practice clinical care and improve the health and wellbeing of people who inject drugs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and clinical staff
- Developing and maintaining best-practice clinical standards
- Supporting staff in service provision activities, including handovers and communication
- Responding to medical emergencies and incidents
- Leading VHIMS reportable incident investigation and follow-up
Requirements:
- Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration
- Supervisory and/or management experience
- Able to provide leadership of a team with diverse experience and skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of harm reduction practice and conflict management skills
- Highly developed relationship management and negotiation skills
