About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Somerton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy rigid vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a stable and essential industry, offering a great work-life balance and excellent earning potential. You will enjoy family-friendly hours, with no DIDO or FIFO, and great pay rates, particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends.

About You
  • You will have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles and demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail.
  • You will be required to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing, and have a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
  • You will have a good mechanical aptitude, work well individually and as part of a team, and be dedicated and reliable.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders, and be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service.
