About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our client's finance team in a Financial Leadership Role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the budgeting and forecasting process, managing the transactional finance team, and driving changes and improvements to finance processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver insightful management accounts to support commercial decision-making
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the group
  • Manage the transactional finance team, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work closely with operations and sales teams to drive commercial activities to the highest standard
  • Drive changes and improvements to finance processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Support the wider finance team with month-end and statutory reporting

Requirements:

  • Recognised accounting qualification or relevant experience in relevant areas
  • Experience managing a team, ideally of three or more staff
  • Experience producing quality management reporting information
  • Exposure to using different, complex accounting systems
