Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong track record in marine, bridge, and concrete infrastructure projects to join our team.

This role involves leading the costing of high-profile tenders, utilizing precision, insight, and creativity to deliver competitive bids. You will work closely with a collaborative team to secure complex projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed cost estimates for tenders and bids.
  • Analyze project scopes, drawings, and specifications for infrastructure works.
  • Sourcing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • IDentify and assess project risks, proposing effective cost strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and leadership teams to produce winning submissions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, construction innovations, and cost benchmarks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of estimating experience in marine, bridge, and/or concrete infrastructure.
  • A strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodology expertise.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
