Lawyer for Transactional and Regulatory Matters

We are seeking a motivated and proactive legal professional to join our team. This role involves supporting the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts across various sectors.
About the Role- Transaction Management: Lead and support the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts such as EPC contracts, supply and install contracts, balance of plant contracts, PPAs/offtake agreements, connection agreements, and O&M agreements.
- Commercial Advice: Advise on land acquisitions, planning approvals, and general commercial matters including NDAs, consultancy agreements, services agreements, and disputes.
- External Counsel Support: Provide support and manage external counsel.
- Regulatory Guidance: Advise on regulatory matters such as FIRB, Australian Financial Services Licences and Critical Infrastructure.
- Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to strategic initiatives, including the development of precedent contracts, adoption of new processes, and delivering training to the team.
The successful candidate will be an admitted lawyer in Australia with 4-8 years of experience in private practice or in-house, a strong understanding of energy or infrastructure transactions in Australia, proven stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence outcomes.
