Midwifery Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Midwife Educator to join our education team.
This role involves delivering and facilitating education in compliance with evidence-based practice, hospital policy, and guidelines. This includes participating in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of education services for maternity care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective educational programs that enhance midwifery skills and knowledge. They will also be required to support all levels of staff across the organisation, with particular focus on education to mitigate risk, advance clinical practice, and develop staff along the novice to expert continuum.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in teaching or supporting learners, extensive experience working within a maternity service, and a strong commitment to midwifery education.
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in education, research, leadership, or midwifery and AHPRA Midwife registration with either an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in midwifery.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- AHPRA Midwife registration with either an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in midwifery
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners
- Current and extensive experience of working within a maternity service
