Midwifery Informatics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Midwifery Informatics Specialist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

This specialist will work closely with nurses and midwives across Monash Health to ensure Digital Health solutions align with nursing and midwifery workforce requirements and enhance workflows and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver specific areas of the EMR and Informatics Optimisation Plan.
  • Contribute to the optimisation of the EMR and associated workflows.
Essential Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Midwife or dual registration as a Midwife and Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Proficient or expert level proficiency working in a midwifery role within the hospital environment.
  • Experience with EMR and/or other clinical information systems.
  • Proven ability to support Digital Health innovation and midwifery and nursing teams.
