Human Resources Manager

A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced HR professional to join our expanding team at Woods & Co Recruitment. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and administration across various responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment law, benefits administration, and wage structures. A proven ability to foster diversity and address workplace issues, including conflict resolution, is essential. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, as well as proficiency in using HR software and systems. Experience with payroll processing and a mature, solution-oriented approach to tasks are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employment contracts, new employee inductions, and probationary reviews.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Coordinate performance appraisals and develop tailored training programs to enhance employee performance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company policies.
- Process payroll efficiently for submission to the finance manager.
- Align positions to the organisation's strategic plan by maintaining up-to-date job descriptions and requirements.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring they are understood and applied.
- Provide high-level advice on workforce planning and compliance with Industrial Legislation and Agreements.
- Support risk management activities and participate in quality reviews and audits.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in HR management, recruitment, and employee performance management.
- Strong understanding of employment law, benefits administration, and wage structures.
- Proven ability to foster diversity and address workplace issues, including conflict resolution.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
