**Role Overview**

The Employment Specialist is responsible for the case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 individuals seeking employment. The primary objective is to find suitable job opportunities that match their skills and experience.

The role involves conducting thorough assessments, building vocational skills and experience, and providing ongoing support to ensure successful employment outcomes. It also includes collaborating with employers to identify potential job opportunities and facilitating group-based job search sessions to enhance motivation and job placement rates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case management and assessment of clients' needs and abilities
  • Developing personalized employment plans to achieve agreed-upon goals
  • Matching clients with suitable job openings and supporting them through the recruitment process
  • Facilitating workshops and training sessions to improve employability skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a genuine passion for helping others find employment, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed as an Employment Specialist, you should have:

  • A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development
  • Experience in the employment services industry or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
