Our organization is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Support Specialist. This role involves providing employment support services to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in navigating the job and employment support environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive training in neurodiversity affirming practices, unconditional acceptance, disability employment support strategies, and methods of supporting individuals in the workplace.

As an Employment Support Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with clients and other stakeholders in the workplace, demonstrating a high level of understanding and empathy towards individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Key qualifications for this role include a Certificate III in Disability or Community Services, or equivalent qualification, as well as first aid certification and NDIS workers screening check. You must also have a current driver's license and reliable vehicle with relevant insurance.

Responsibilities will include researching employment options, developing individualized employment plans, and working closely with clients to achieve their goals.

This is a casual position with variable hours, typically ranging from 5 to 15 hours per week. Pay rates are competitive at $38.00 - $40.00 per hour.

For this role, you will need to be willing to work in-person and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services to our clients.

Selection criteria for this role include good written and spoken English, demonstrated understanding/experience working with individuals with disabilities, and a strong ability to engage with clients and other stakeholders in the workplace.
