Industries Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

As an Industries Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our centre. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure offender supervision and security are maintained at all times.

You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling offender activities to achieve quality and production targets. This will involve liaising with existing and potential clients to undertake effective customer relations.

In addition, you will identify, negotiate and respond to contracts and other marketing opportunities with external organisations.

Your duties will also include monitoring quality control systems and facilitating the implementation of quality assurance management systems in industry areas.

You will oversee and guide offenders in the production of various goods and services when necessary.

Furthermore, you will manage sales, distribution of tenders, quotes and work orders to appropriate areas.

Initiating production development and enhancement opportunities is also part of your responsibilities.

You will assist in the preparation of operational plans, budget estimates and effective budget management for industries cost centres.

Production schedules, tender documentation, business plans and strategies will be provided by you to promote and manage productivity of the centre.

You will actively participate in procurement processes and stock control procedures.

Preparation of reports and maintenance of records are also essential tasks.

You will perform other administrative duties required for the effective management of an Industries Business Unit.

Ensuring securities procedures are adhered to in all industries areas and contributing to the provision of a safe environment for offenders are critical aspects of this role.
