Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Avionics Specialist to join our team in Nowra, NSW. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance activities on the most advanced maritime helicopter in the world. You will work in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities, where you will teardown, repaint, and rebuild the MH-60R (Romeo) fleet to ensure our customers stay ahead of ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform entire aircraft deeper level maintenance
  • Conduct intermediate and operational level maintenance
  • Carry out structural repair
  • Incorporate major modifications
  • Conduct component inspections
  • Support squadron operations with mobile repair
  • Manage aircraft storage and preservation
  • Oversee aircraft painting
  • Provide operational test flight support on the flight line

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills (Avionics)
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
