Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Avionics Specialist to join our team in Nowra, NSW. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance activities on the most advanced maritime helicopter in the world. You will work in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities, where you will teardown, repaint, and rebuild the MH-60R (Romeo) fleet to ensure our customers stay ahead of ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform entire aircraft deeper level maintenance
- Conduct intermediate and operational level maintenance
- Carry out structural repair
- Incorporate major modifications
- Conduct component inspections
- Support squadron operations with mobile repair
- Manage aircraft storage and preservation
- Oversee aircraft painting
- Provide operational test flight support on the flight line
Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills (Avionics)
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
