The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Roster Coordinator to join our Service Team in a 7/7 Day shift role. In this position, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing labour and tooling of Hitachi projects related to shut downs, planned maintenance, and day-to-day activities of Hitachi field service employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan all Hitachi projects, including scheduled maintenance, day-to-day field service, and labour requirements.
  • Coordinate rosters and ensure efficient utilization of resources and labour (time sheets, job tasks, POs).
  • Manage company assets such as tooling, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Manage sub-contract labour and supplies within budgets and in compliance with scope of work.
  • Coordinate and implement site-based training and induction activities and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure HCA employees comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety-first culture is a consistent behaviour within the team.
  • Assist with technical enquiries and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • You will hold a relevant trade qualification.
  • Experience with Mining Equipment or OEM in a supervisory or project management role.
  • Intermediate PC skills, good communication skills, and the ability to analyse data and publish reports.
  • Previous experience in a forecasting, planning, or rostering role would be advantageous.
  • Have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes.
