Job Title: Field Service Manager

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading provider of construction, mining, and forestry equipment. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Manager to join our team based in Gunnedah.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating major shutdown projects, preparing work scopes, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of time sheets and sub-contract documentation. They will also be responsible for identifying continuous improvements within their area of responsibility.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or project management role with mining equipment in the mining industry or with a related OEM
  • Appropriate trade or post-trade qualifications and related product training
  • Intermediate PC skills, ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Relevant trade certificate - Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter - Earthmoving/Heavy Transport) coupled with extensive experience and knowledge in repairing, servicing, and maintaining mobile plant equipment
  • Strong ability to adapt yourself to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
