Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our hospital team in a permanent full-time capacity. In this vital role, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors by responding to emergencies, managing incidents, and supporting hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to:

  • Manage patient flow and assist with emergency situations
  • Provide assistance to visitors and staff
  • Assist with protecting hospital assets and upholding the highest standards of customer service and professionalism
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid NSW Security Licence (Class 1A)
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • An Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience applying security techniques such as conflict resolution, de-escalation, and restraint
  • Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
  • Computer literacy and experience working across electronic security systems
