Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Officer to provide high-quality patient care in our 24-hour emergency department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Medical Officer in Internal Medicine to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

  • This role involves providing medical care and support to patients, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the emergency department, including conducting rounds and participating in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and circumstances
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, ensuring confidentiality and data security

Work Environment:

  • Our 119-bed facility features a 24-hour emergency department with 15 beds, as well as 100 hospital care beds and 10 maternity beds
  • We receive approximately 19,500 emergency presentations, 2,500 operations, and 600 births per year

Requirements:

  • Junior Medical Officer in Internal Medicine with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Flexible scheduling, including some early morning shifts, to accommodate the needs of our patients and team members
