Training Role in Health Sciences

We are seeking a skilled educator to deliver training in the Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies course.

  • Must have a Bachelor Degree.
  • At least 1 year of education experience is preferred.
  • 1 year of health/nursing experience is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing and health sciences to students aged 15-18. You will deliver training in anatomy & physiology, academic communication, microbiology & chemistry, and body systems. The training days are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during Terms 1, 2, and 3.

Trainers who are able to use and adapt to technology in the classroom, including learning management systems, tablets, and educational apps, are ideal for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach nursing and health sciences to students aged 15-18.
  • Deliver training in the Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies course.
  • Use and adapt to technology in the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with the team.
  • Communicate effectively using online tools.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Diploma of Nursing or a degree in Nursing, Human Biology, Allied Health, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in healthcare is preferred.
