Oncology Nursing Role

This position involves delivering high-quality patient care in our Oncology Unit. The team aims to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and caregivers alike.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care with support from senior staff as needed.
  • Serving as the patient's advocate and protecting their rights.
  • Providing patient education and acting as a resource where appropriate.
  • Maintaining and developing clinical skills to manage patient health issues.
  • Responding appropriately to customer feedback and complaints.

The ideal candidate will have current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in Oncology. They will also possess well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.
