Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in patient care and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

The angiogram suite is state-of-the-art, performing cardiac and minor vascular procedures. Our team provides high-quality patient care for both elective and emergency patients. We work closely with skilled cardiologists, surgeons, and anaesthetists using modern equipment to provide a seamless perioperative journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing practice in accordance with Australian College of Operating Room Nurses Standards and Competencies.
  • Assume a clinical workload as appropriate in accordance with rosters and allocations.
  • Act as team leader as necessary.
  • Promote and assist development of colleagues' standards of nursing practice.
  • Work professionally within all legislative and government requirements.
  • Support the Clinical Nurse Manager and Area Manager regarding ongoing education of all staff within the operating suite.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 2 years' clinical Cath Lab/Angiograph experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
