About the Role- You will conduct in-person assessments of patients' abilities and challenges, identifying areas where they need support and developing targeted interventions.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, you will provide expert advice on technical equipment and assistive technology that can help patients achieve their goals.
- You will also teach patients exercises and strategies to apply in their daily lives, helping them to regain independence and confidence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working with patients with a range of abilities and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
