Family Contact Facilitator

About this Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to supervise and support safe family contact for children in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and supervise family contact visits autonomously
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports soon after each visit
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Identify and report child protection concerns
  • Manage visits when they are not in the child's best interest

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services or related field preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver's Licence, Working with Vulnerable People clearance, First Aid & NDIS registration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage conflict and work effectively with diverse families
  • Understanding of child safety and car restraint laws
  • Must be available for a range of shifts
