Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in quality assurance, specifically in the agriculture and food products industry.

The role of Client Manager involves conducting on-site assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications. You will also be responsible for providing expert guidance, producing detailed assessment reports, and making recommendations for certification decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity to promote our product offerings and solutions to clients, helping them improve their business performance, manage risk, and achieve excellence.

  • Conducting management system assessments against BSI requirements.
  • Preparing comprehensive assessment reports and delivering findings to clients.
  • Recommending the issue, re-issue, or withdrawal of certificates, and reporting recommendations within prescribed time frames.
  • Leading assessment teams to ensure quality service delivery and effective working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with clients, securing commercial relationships, and identifying opportunities for business development and increased client satisfaction.
  • Providing accurate and prompt information to support services, ensuring client records are up-to-date and complete, and meeting internal information requirements.
  • Delivering scheduled days as booked by the operations support team, maximizing revenue-earning activity.
  • Couching colleagues, especially inexperienced assessors or those unfamiliar with clients' businesses/technologies, and assisting in the induction and coaching of new colleagues.
  • Maintaining and developing assessment skills and technical knowledge of management system standards.
  • Providing technical support to clients through business development, sales, and customer service staff.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture or food science.
  • At least 3 years of experience in QC/QA in the agriculture, food products industry, or food safety management, with a preference for experience in food safety auditing.
  • Assessors with multi-skilled capabilities in various food systems will be given priority, including ISO/FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System, ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Management Systems Standards, HACCP, GMP, PAS 220, BRCGS, SQF, Global GAP, 2nd Party Supplier Chain audits for major brands and retailers, Ethical/Social Compliance Standards, and Training Qualifications.
  • Commercial understanding of the compliance industry, minimum 2 years of quality system management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, and excellent time management/planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel on business intensively.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to being an effective team player.
