Acute Care Physiotherapy Lecturer Position

This is a key role in the design and delivery of high-quality student learning opportunities in Acute Care Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will support broader program learning and teaching foci such as simulation, interprofessional education, and cultural safety.

We are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking physiotherapist with expertise in acute care physiotherapy to contribute to cutting-edge research and ensure that our programs remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging learning opportunities for students in Acute Care Physiotherapy.
  • Support and contribute to program learning and teaching foci, including simulation, interprofessional education, and cultural safety.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning.
Key Requirements:
  • A doctoral or masters qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • 6+ years of relevant clinical experience and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field.
  • Eligibility for membership of AHPRA as a physiotherapist.
  • Experience in acute care physiotherapy.
