Job Overview

To ensure program success, we require a Quality Specialist to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed quality principles throughout all aspects of our work
  • Create and update policies, procedures, and metrics aligned with industry standards
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct supplier quality reviews and provide assurance support for business decisions
  • Audit hardware, software, and systems against industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in Quality Management Systems, aviation, engineering, or related field
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quality, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9110, and practical application
  • Ability to analyze problems and make informed decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lead auditor qualifications or willingness to obtain upon commencement

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Parts 145, 21J, and familiarity with Part 21G
  • Conduct and familiarity in root cause analysis technique and methods
  • Exposure to project management or leading cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
