Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commis Chef to join our team at Accor Apartments & Realty. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, working closely with our experienced senior chefs to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Presentation

Ensure that all food presented to guests meets our high standards of quality and presentation, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in food preparation.

Health and Safety

Adhere to local health and safety regulations, with a strong understanding of HACCP management principles.

Team Collaboration

Work effectively with our culinary team to achieve our goals, receiving ongoing training and guidance from senior chefs.

Kitchen Operations

Assist with a range of kitchen tasks, from dishwashing to food preparation, ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Requirements

  • Culinary Training and Experience

Possess recognized culinary training and employment experience, with a commercial cookery certification and preferably, a safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor.

Skills and Abilities

Be a team player with strong communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a passion for food and creativity.

Availability

Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
