We are seeking a highly skilled Disabilities Services Officer to join our team at Amyra Care Services. Based in Bella Vista, NSW, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals who share our passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have experience in disability services and be able to work collaboratively with clients, community groups, and other organizations. A relevant qualification is also required.

As a Disabilities Services Officer, you will be responsible for assessing client needs and implementing educational training with support programs. You will provide direct care duties for individual clients as specified in their Personal Care Profile and facilitate community inclusion and participation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing client needs and implementing educational training with support programs
  • Providing direct care duties for individual clients as specified in their Personal Care Profile
  • Facilitating community inclusion and participation
  • Abiding by service communication, reporting, and client/program progress practices and procedures

To ensure success in this role, you must possess strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills. Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by disabled individuals and their families are also essential.
