Full-time Disabilities Services Officer Position

We are looking for an experienced Disabilities Services Officer to join our team at Amyra Care Services. As a Registered NDIS provider, we believe in putting people first and improving their lives. Our dedicated team is committed to providing quality care and support services to people with special needs at home and in the community.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, community groups, and other organizations. A relevant qualification and 2 years of experience in disability services, community work, or related fields are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and implement educational training with support programs
  • Provide direct care duties for individual clients, including physical and mobility requirements
  • Facilitate community inclusion and participation, dependent on individual needs, abilities, and preferences
  • Carry out and promote positive routines, duties, and activities in a cooperative and respectful manner
  • Abide by service communication, reporting, and client/program progress practices and procedures
  • Respond to crisis situations within specified guidelines
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of organisational and Departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines

Salary and Benefits:
