Job Overview
Associate Director - Government Technology Platforms

A leadership role has become available for an experienced professional who will be responsible for managing contracts and driving commercial performance in Government Technology Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of contract partners to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with internal senior leaders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process within GTP, ensuring compliance with NSW Government policies and maximising value for money.
  • People leadership for immediate team and broader directorate, actively participating in Value & Portfolio Management leadership.
  • Represent senior leaders as required including providing expert, actionable advice and recommendations to executives.
  • Engage with vendors and industry partners to develop strategic partnerships and optimise digital product offerings.
  • Oversee contract management, including negotiations and compliance monitoring, performance reporting, to secure optimal outcomes for the organisation.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Procurement, sourcing, contract and vendor management experience including demonstrated ability to be an SME on government digital commercial operations.
  • Significant experience in building effect networks and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Knowledge and certifications in SAFe are preferred including understanding expense recovery and inter-agency agreement alignment.
