Senior Communications Professional

We are seeking a senior communications professional to lead integrated communications projects across earned, owned and shared channels. This role will thrive in a fast-paced agency setting, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings strong strategic thinking, media know-how, and a genuine passion for leading people and teams. You will play a senior role within our PR and Strategic Communications team, helping drive client outcomes, strengthen team capability, and build a positive, high-performing culture.
About the Role- Lead a small team working across multiple communications accounts
- Provide day-to-day support, coaching and feedback to team members
- Help shape ways of working and contribute to team planning and capability-building
You will be responsible for developing and executing media strategies across traditional, digital, and social platforms. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders is also crucial for success in this role.
In this role, you will design and oversee integrated campaigns, collaborate with creative and audience teams, and lead creation of clear and compelling communications materials.
We are looking for someone exceptional, not simply a box-ticker. Here's what we'd ideally like to see:
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in PR or communications, ideally within an integrated agency
- Exposure to government and not-for-profit clients, with an understanding of working in complex or regulated environments
- Strong leadership, management, and mentorship skills
- Excellent strategic communication, writing, editing, and stakeholder engagement abilities
