Defence Base Sweeper

We are seeking an experienced Sweeper Operator to join our team at RAAF Tindal, working on the Defence Base Services contract.
About the Role:This is a key position within our Grounds Maintenance team, responsible for daily sweeping across the Defence site, including runways, covering both night and day shifts.
Responsibilities:- Perform road and site sweeping duties as scheduled;
- Carry out general labouring tasks as required;
- Ensure road sweeping meets management standards and customer expectations;
- Complete site inductions and accreditation where necessary;
- Conduct start-up, wash-down, and routine maintenance procedures.
- A current MR licence or higher;
- At least 3 years of truck driving experience;
- Experience operating a manual truck;
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude (preferable);
- Ability to work autonomously with a company-driven focus.
Please note that applicants must be Australian citizens to work on Defence sites.
